LYDIA, Magnesia ad Sipylum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (29mm, 12.83 g, 12h). Aurelius Theodotus, strategos. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Magnesia, as Amazon, turreted, standing left, holding patera, pelta and chlamys, being crowned by Nike standing left behind. RPC VII 288 (A2/R2); SNG Copenhagen 267 (same dies). Good Fine, green surfaces, earthen deposits.
